It won't be any more awesome to row onshore than with the Taurus rowing machine RX7. The indoor rower with its hybrid resistance system offers a very comfortably pulling in the low as well as in the high intensity zone. Being one of very few rowing machines which offer a remote control on the handle, the RX7 makes it possible to do settings during the training.

Excellent pull and innovative control

The Taurus rowing machine RX7 is equipped with a combined resistance system with magnetic resistance and air resistance. That provides some advantages for rowing: On the one hand a basic resistance can be set. In addition, this system offers a smoother pull at any intensity. While the magnetic resistance works in the lower zone, the air resistance provides a great pull at higher intensities. Thanks to the magnetic resistance, it is also possible to train a Watt program. For instance, a Watt value of up to 300 Watts can be set. Then the computer controls the resistance level depending upon the pulling speed so that this Watt value is constantly kept. Additionally thanks to the air resistance much higher resistances are possible - so that a competitive sportsman can train with the Taurus rowing machine RX7 as well.

As you grasp the handle with both hands while rowing, in general it is not possible to change some settings during the training. That's totally different with the Taurus rowing machine RX7. A remote control is integrated in the handle, by which you can change the settings even during training. For instance, the resistance level can be adjusted or you can switch the programme.

Training computer with well-thought out programme selection

The training computer of the RX7 is one of the most advanced computers of rowing machines on the market. The machine offers a great programme selection for everyone. For instance, the two interval programmes are very interesting, by which you can quickly and effectively increase your own performance - or the Racer programme, which you can compete against the average times/500 m of other users. That's great for a little family competition.

RX7: an indoor rower with a strong design

With respect to design, everything about the Taurus rowing machine RX7 is simply right: The machine is of an excellent workmanship, offers smart and well-thought out functions, and looks fabulous. The machine is designed to withstand even most intensive loads. Hence, it is even suitable for semi-professional use - for instance, at company fitness rooms or hospitals. The frame of the Taurus rowing machine RX7 is higher - hence the seat is higher as well. That makes getting on and off more comfortable.

Die telefonische Beratung vor dem Kauf des Taurus RX7 war hervorragend. Der Verkäufer nahm sich Zeit und hat auf die Unterschiede sowie Vor- und Nachteile der verschiedenen Rudergerätetypen hingewiesen. Somit war uns schnell klar, dass für uns kein wassergeführtes Rudergerät in Frage kommt, weil mehrere Personen mit unterschiedlichem Trainingsniveau darauf rudern möchten. Nach der Lieferung (das Rudergerät war sicher und gut verpackt) habe ich das Gerät alleine in ca. 40 Minuten aufgebaut. Die Montageanleitung ist übersichtlich und gut verständlich. Allerdings wünschte ich mir eine bessere/umfangreichere Bedienungsanleitung für den Trainingscomputer - ich persönlich finde die Bedienung nicht selbsterklärend wie hier teilweise beschrieben wurde. Zum Rudergerät selbst kann ich nur sagen, dass es einen hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck vermittelt. Es bietet viele Trainingsmöglichkeiten und kommuniziert gut mit unserem Polar-Brustgurt zur Frequenzüberwachung. Zudem ist es leise genug, dass im Nachbarzimmer niemand gestört wird und dass man neben dem Rudern auch Musik hören oder TV gucken kann. Was für mich nicht akzeptabel ist, ist die Lieferzeit. Von der Bestellung bis zum Eintreffen des Rudergerätes per Spedition dauerte es 15 Tage - am Telefon wurde mir 7 Tage genannt! Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Statusübersicht immer nur weitergewandert ist, wenn ich entweder beim Vertrieb oder bei der Spedition angerufen habe. Fazit: Meiner Meinung nach ein gutes Rudergerät, aber einen Stern Abzug für die zu oberflächliche Bedienungsanleitung des Computers sowie der zu langen Lieferzeit. ... [Read more]

Die Lieferung war Top, die Ware super verpackt! Die Aufbauanleitung war auch sehr übersichtlich und einfach nachzuvollziehen. Das Training fand ich bis jetzt echt super! Ich kann das Team von Sport-Tiedje auf jeden Fall nur empfehlen.

Ich bin dem Connect 2 super zufrieden. Der Aufbau des Geräts ging schnell und einfach. Das Gerät wird robust und stabil. Dank der mitbestellten Untermatte rutscht es auch auf Fliesen keinen Millimeter. Die Bedienung des Computers (PM5) und die Verbindung mit Pulsmesser sowie Smartphone funktionierte auf Anhieb. Toll ist auch die integrierte Tablet-Halterung am Arm des Computers.

Das Rudergerät ist ein Gerät der Spitzenklasse, sehr gut verarbeitet und selbst mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug in 35 Minuten alleine aufzubauen. Es hat genügend Programme und Widerstände für Anfänger und Profis. Durchgängiger Zug, leise Rollen und ein bequemer Sitz. Dank der gummierten Fläche an den Stellfüßen brauche ich nicht einmal eine Matte. Das Gerät lässt sich schnell zusammenklappen und dank der Rollen leicht an die entsprechende Stelle schieben wo man das Rudegerät haben will.... [Read more]

j'ai découvert le rameur pendant ma semaine de vacances à l'hotel et j'ai essayé le rameur pour la première fois, en revenant il m'en fallait absolument un, j'ai choisi le taurus rx7 et je ne le regrette pas, montage rapide et super facile, facile d'utilisation, il est tout simplement parfait, fait bcp moins de bruit qu'un rameur avec une chaine de traction. Programmations à l'infini, avec télécommande sur la poignée pour changer en cours d'excercice. Je sens que je vais l'employer tous les jours. Vraiment très contente de mon achat, je ne regrette pas.... [Read more]

Das Rudergerät Taurus RX7 ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lieferung erfolgte innerhalb der angekündigten Lieferzeit und wurde ohne Beanstandungen via Spedition geliefert. Die Montage klappt alleine ohne Probleme in unter 60 Minuten. Die Montageanleitung ist dabei sehr leicht zu verstehen. Nach der Montage war ich zunächst skeptisch, da der Sitz bei dem ersten Training unrund lief. Dies stellte sich nach dem ersten 2 Trainingseinheiten allerdings ein. Hierbei waren Abriebreste der Rollen auf der Laufschiene zu sehen, was die Vermutung zu lässt, das der Runde Laufe von Nahtstellen der Rollen kam. Der Trainingscomputer und die Einstellungen sind zunächst nicht wirklich intuitiv, sodass hier die Montage und Bedienungsanleitung aushilft. Das Training selbst macht wirklich sehr viel Spaß und lässt für mich keine Wünsche offen. Das Zugverhalten ist ohne jeglichen Leerlauf und auch bei höchsten Widerständen flüssig und das Gerät stabil.
